A Day at the Beach is here for some fun in the sun (even in the winter)! These cake-baking kits include all you need to create your beach on a cake: sand, water, seashells, and a beach umbrella! Surf's up!
This kit also includes cake mix (regular or gluten-free), frosting mix, cocoa powder (to make cake and frosting chocolate, if you want), and an easy-to-follow recipe card.
(Frosting food coloring not included)

Gluten Free Cake mix: sugar, gluten free flour (rice flour, whole grain brown rice flour, whole sorghum flour, tapioca starch, potato starch, cellulose, xanthan gum, calcium carbonate, niacinamide, reduced iron, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin), baking powder (cornstarch, monocalcium phosphate, sodium bicarbonate), salt.
Frosting mix: powdered sugar (sugar, cornstarch)
Dutched cocoa packet: cocoa processed with alkali

What You'll Need

- 3 Tbsp Milk
- 1 Egg
- 4 1/2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla

Indulge in the joy of baking with ease, thanks to our straightforward and simple-to-follow baking kit instructions. Perfect for you and your child to enjoy a memorable afternoon.
STEP 1
Preheat Oven and Prep Pan
First, Preheat your oven to 350. Next, handwash and dry your Kids’ Cake Boxes cake pan. Then, using Crisco or baking spray, lightly coat the bottom and sides of the pan. Sprinkle a little flour from your cupboard onto the pan and tap it all around so it sticks to the coating. Shake out any excess flour.
STEP 2
Mix and Bake
Pour the cake mix into a bowl. Add the egg, (room-temperature) butter, milk, and vanilla. If you’d like chocolate cake, add some cocoa powder here, too. Blend thoroughly. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for time specified.
STEP 3
Allow to Cool
Allow your cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then turn it out onto a cooling rack and allow it to cool completely before spreading on the frosting.
