Perfect for every occasion (or just because it's Tuesday), our Rockin' Rainbow cake baking kit is here to deliver big smiles to your little baker. Each kit comes with cake mix (regular or gluten-free), frosting mix, cocoa powder, fabulous rainbow sprinkle mix, recipe card, and perfectly-sized cake pan.
Advisory: Adult supervision required. Large sprinkles could potentially cause choking risk; please use caution. Mixes produced in a facility that also processes nut products.

What You'll Need

- 1 Egg
- 4 1/2 Tbsp Butter
- 1 Tsp Vanilla

STEP 1
Preheat Oven and Prep Pan
First, Preheat your oven to 350. Next, handwash and dry your Kids’ Cake Boxes cake pan. Then, using Crisco or baking spray, lightly coat the bottom and sides of the pan. Sprinkle a little flour from your cupboard onto the pan and tap it all around so it sticks to the coating. Shake out any excess flour.
STEP 2
Mix and Bake
Dump the cake mix into a bowl. Add the egg, (room-temperature) butter, milk, and vanilla. If you’d like chocolate cake, add part of the cocoa powder here, too. Blend thoroughly. Pour into the prepared pan. Bake for time specified.
STEP 3
Allow to Cool
Allow your cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then turn it out onto a cooling rack and allow it to cool completely before spreading on the frosting.
